Evaluate potential supply base of the region (competitiveness, reliability); search, evaluate and audit the new factories, and qualify them as OEM manufacturers for the new products;
Communicate and discuss with the US marketing & design team in the US headquarters to evaluate the feasibility of the new product concept, complete and finalize the specification of the new products and launch a RFQ;
Work with the supplier development team to coordinate development activities; communicate with marketing & design team to modify the product structure or change materials to achieve the feasibility and meet the cost target;Lacoste Polo Shirts

Discuss with suppliers on the commercial framework of cooperation according to the company strategies and procedures, Negotiate agreements, terms, conditions, logistics and pricing with suppliers as required;
Monitor quality performance and follow-up supplier’s corrective action on quality claims, Coordinate quality inspections, shipping and exporting affairs, make sure good quality and on-time delivery;
Work closely with purchasing director in the US to develop sourcing strategy for the important designated items;
Develop suppliers outside China, contact Korea or Taiwan suppliers for high-end products, and contact low-cost suppliers in India, Vietnam or Philippine to meet lower cost target;
